Alfa Romeo ranks right up there with some of the oldest automobile manufacturers out there however among them Alfa stands alone in influential racing. Sanctioned racing in Europe started almost as early the first car came out of a factory. In fact that was how they proved to the people that they were reliable cars. Racing in the US didn't really start until almost 50 Years later. Alfa has built some of the most iconic and beautiful cars to date which most enthusiasts will agree. This holds ...true with modern classics such as this unbelievable 1750 GTV that we have the pleasure of representing. This car was serviced by a US serviceman in 1971 and brought back to the US shortly after with the Virginia Naval Base sticker still visible on the original bumpers that will accompany the car. The car was restored in 2001/2002 to a very high quality. The car was good to begin with and the 85000 miles is believed to be accurate. The engine and transmission was done at this time as well. Two solex carbs were added brakes calipers adjustable springs by Koni and much more. The car was built for club and track events but has never been tracked since. Beautiful original wood trimmed wheel and dash and center counsel. Seats and headliner are original. This car sounds like perfection and is solid and tight going down the road. The paint is of the highest quality I have seen. The car as I mentioned does come with the original bumpers and also original back seat wheels center hub-caps and misc. odds and ends from restoration. This is a must see demands to be in someones collection. There is further information available for interested parties.
