1973 Volvo 1800ES Additional Info:

This is the nicest ES I've ever owned. Previous two owner's back had the car restored professionally 5-6 years ago spending over $15,000. The paint was done right with glass removed and new rubber seals all around. Paint shows really nice with some minor bubbling on the rockers. Tried to show it in the pictures but they are small areas and hard to see. Would be very easy to fix these areas and blend in the paint. No other flaws that I could find anywhere. No signs of previous accidents. Stainless trim in near perfect condition. Chrome bumpers and grille surround look new. Car really runs strong and shifts smooth. Previous owner was a retired military electrical engineer and spent a small fortune on buying many new fuel injection components to make it run perfect. Just a blast to drive. Interior is in fantastic condition. Car has AC that my mechanic is currently working on this week. No guarantees that I'll get it working though, ut at least it's all there. Car has a clean Ohio title that will be transferred in my name Monday. Takes 5-10 business days to get new title in the mail from Michigan. I welcome anybody to come and test drive the car or send a hired agent to look it over. The car does come with a automatic transmission that makes for a better drive on the highways and bumper to bumper traffic. It's easier on old knees and hips! For those gear jammers out there this is a very easy car to convert to manual transmission. I can recommend a few names that can help walk you through the process. The parts required to do the work should cost you under $1,000 and take 1-2 days by a experienced mechanic.
International buyers are very very welcome to bid on my car. I love you guys!!! I've been lucky enough to ship 7 Volvos to Europe in the last year. It's a fairly easy process if you can do some work on your end finding a good transport company. The cost to ship most cars to Europe is between $2800-$3200. That's for inland transport to New Jersey, ransport by boat, nd taxes and paperwork. Cost will vary depending on country of course.
I'm sure I'm missing some details but if your serious just call me and ask questions. I'm at 586.321.6572. If your in the United States and need a transport company I can recommend a great one with reasonable rates.
I've made a nice YouTube video slideshow of over 100 pictures of this ES. I strongly recommend watching it and please consider it part of my description of the car. To find that video search "Nick Tarlton Red 1973 Volvo 1800ES".
Deposit will be by PayPal. Cash would be great for the balance but bank transfers or money orders also work.
