1958 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

**NO TITLE, BILL OF SALE ONLY. NOT REBUILT JUST HAD TO SELECT AN OPTION**DO NOT have birth certificate or any original paper work** 1958 VW Beetle. The first picture is most recent, I wiped it down with boiled linseed oil to show what it would look like clear coated. I will add more up to date pictures this weekend. This bug does need a lot of rust repair. It needs patches in the floor pan at the battery box, patches or replaces heater channels, the drivers front door pillar, and the passengers rear pillar, the spare well patched, and a few small spots on the fenders replaced. The car runs great, but has been losing power and dying after a few miles recently. I have owned it for about 4 years, and have enjoyed it. This car is very original and has not been cut up or customized in any way. Tires are great. Does have a few oil leaks. Transmission shifts out great. First gear is not synchronized. 2 piece casing engine, I believe it is a 28 HP engine?? I am not sure of the actual mileage. Has an aftermarket carb on it, but also comes with the factory carb, a donor carb, and a late model carb. The number on the engine does not match the vin number, but I am not sure it is suppose too. I looked up the vin and engine number, and I believe both were built in September of 1958. The car still has the 6 volt system, but has an 8 volt battery in it. This would be a great car to drive as is while restoring, and would be a great car to restore. I am not giving this car away, unmolested 50's bugs are getting very hard to come by. It does need work, but is overall in great shape. It comes with a few spare bumpers, a rust free rear deck lid, and a set of rough fenders. I expect a $500 paypal deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction, and full CASH payment within 7 days of the end of the auction. The car is sold as is with a BILL OF SALE ONLY, NO TITLE. Georgia does not require a title for a vehicle this old, and will not reissue a title. Several states will reissue titles for vehicles though. This is the buyers responsibility to make sure that they can get a title from their state. Buyer is responsible for either picking up the car or arranging to have it shipping. I will not help arrange shipping. If you are in Georgia, it is not an issue. Also, if you are in Georgia, I will throw in a 1958 Georgia tag that is currently registered to the car. The car will need to be towed since it is having the issue with dying. Feel free to contact me for more pictures of videos of the car running. 7062993516. If it does not sell soon, I might keep it and restore it myself.
