1977 Red VW Bus, Camper Bed, Runs well, Good Condition

1977 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:

1977 VW BusTransporter with camper seatI bought this bus about 5 years ago as my daily driver to my antique shop one mile away and as advertisement for. It was not perfect then and it is not now.I have maintained it well repairing those things that broke and deteriorated. I am replacing the failed interior panels with painted masonite. I am repairing (to my satisfaction) rips in the headliner. I put in a purchased camper bed/seat from a 1976. I have repainted interior metal. I have maintained the engine through help of an experienced old VW mechanic. It has a new battery. I have a few extra parts.It needs new cv joints in the rear, probably needs front brakes and emergency brake adjusted. I just had the Holley carburetor rebuilt. The ash tray and radio are missing. The windshield is cracked. The radial tires are ok. I replaced a shock in the back but the other one should be done as it is noisy. The driver's seat is bolted down and won't slide to adjust...it is also worn badly on the seat. I dented the rear bumper and the drip edge above it. The mileage is certainly not correct, I don't think.I was never a purist about this nor was I slipshod about it. It needs work to be a 15K bus. It needs very little work, if any, for it to be cool as hell.This bus is outside of Asheville NC, a beautiful place to visit this month. If eBay allows this and you have a 4 or 6 cylinder Japanese 4x4 or even a Ranger to trade, that's why I'm selling.
