1992 Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab Pickup Additional Info:

The time has come for me to sell my exceptional, 1992 4WD Toyota Pickup. I've invested a lot into this truck, and it's ready to go on and have an excellent life, perhaps with you!
I bought this truck in North Carolina from its 2nd owner. I have records from the day it was first purchased, by a meticulous engineer, through with its second owner, who used it as a secondary vehicle and took great care of it. I've owned it for the past few years, puts tons of money and love into keeping it in great shape. I'm selling it now with a heavy heart. This truck is really great. But, I'm going to school, and have chosen education over my dream vehicle.
Here's what you need to know about it. After purchasing it, it has been completely gone over by many mechanics, and has a Maine sticker good through Dec. 2017. After that, if you live in Maine, you can keep stickering it, or register it as an antique.
About some of the restorations done to the vehicle:
*new 22RE Engine with approximately 81,XXX miles on it (reads as 214,XXX on the odometer)
*New clutch
*Wiring and wiring harness completely gone over
*More modern CD player and speaker system installed
*New upholstery and seats
*New radiator and radiator hoses
*New alternator and alternator drive belt
*New fuel pump
*New muffler
*New timing chain
*Southern vehicle until 2 years ago, when it was undercoated and regularly cleaned, so it remains not rusty
*Paint job approximately 4 years ago
Some regular maintenance recently done:
*New brake pads
*Meticulous oil changes every 3,000 miles- its last oil change was the day before this posting
*All fluids fluids just checked
Some other good stuff:
*4WD works great!
*Great tires, and an extra full set of the same tires that come with it
*Has a "hidden hitch" for towing. It has only been used to tow a small handful of times in its long life
Some things that add to its character:
*It has some surface rust on the back bumper
*It has a few small aesthetic imperfections, including a ding on the back bumper; one on the driver's side front, some duct tape to hide a crack in the plastic on the dash.
*It idles low when it's rainy. I've been told this is relatively common for old Toyota's. It doesn't cause trouble (the truck is my daily driver) but, I want you to be informed!
No check engine lights! Just got an oil change and tire rotation.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the truck. Serious inquiries only. Thank you!
