1963 Studebaker 2R10 Regal Additional Info:

For sale 1963 Studebaker Avanti R-2 Supercharged. Excellent. Original owner. I bought this car new August 10th 1965-I have the original Bill of Sale and Factory Build Sheet -and it took us on our honeymoon to LA and back to Buffalo, N.Y. This car is all original except for a rebuilt engine by John Erb in the 70's. The car was repainted once and has the original Regal black interior. This car is a 1963-1964 transition model with serial number R-4687. Most if it is 1963 with 1964 interior-upholstery and carpet are Original-try and find that. I did replace the fawn dash and console plates with wood grain. The steering wheel is still fawn with a black vinyl cover. Car runs very strong and starts right up, sounds good with the dual glass packed mufflers. I am trying to be up front with the condition of this car, however it is impossible to describe how nice it is and how it was up kept. Just some examples- new A arm bushings, radiator,shocks,springs,brakes, brake lines,rotors and calipers(stainless), brake lines,mufflers and exhuast pipes. The engine and transmission were rebuilt with less 5,000 mile on them, Supercharger was rebuilt this year. The hogs are good and do not have to be replaced as the car was in a heated garage the last 48 years! Everything works as it should except for the Tach that needs a new sending unit and the clock that needs a tune up. Just needs a paint touch up and drive it any where.Also included are numerous records and literature from the last 52 years I have owned this car, time to move on.
