Porsche South Bay is please to offer this exceptionally nice 1961 Porsche 356 1600 S Karmann Nothcback coupe. Finished in the very striking Aetna Blue over Red color combination, this Notchback is a very presentable driver with excellent gaps, exceptionally dry and unmolested chassis, and fully sorted mechanicals. While the paintwork dates from 1995 it still presents nicely but does show age appropriate wear, chips, etc. Power is supplied by a 912 sourced engine rebuilt in 2016 with the preferred... "big bore" pistons and cylinders resulting in displacement of 1720CC's. The transmission was also rebuilt at that time. Record of these rebuilds and much more dating back to 2012 come with the car. Immediately prior to being offered here the windshield and tires were also replaced. Preferred by racers for the thoroughly reinforced cabriolet chassis that is the basis for the nothchback coupe, the drive of this example is exceptional. Power from the 1720 cc engine outstanding.
