1977 Porsche IROC RSR Tribute Additional Info:

Vehicle Original VIN : 208-202-5562Built as a tribute and re-creation of the iconic 1974 RSR IROC car driven by George Follmer, this build appears to have spared no expense in creating an absolutely amazing car. Starting off life as a 1977 911, the car received a ‘74 RSR IROC Widebody Conversion from Retro Designs with front and rear 930 turbo metal flares, bumpers and period-correct whale tail with twin air inlets. The sunroof and gas cap flap were covered and welded to create the correct look, and a center mounted fuel neck was fabricated for the new fuel tank. The car was completely stripped down and painted in the correct color code, 354, Porsche Acid/Bahama Blue. The IROC livery is recreated in vinyl decals on top, and Fikse Fuchs RSR 17” wheels finish off the look on the exterior. In the rear sits the highly modified 3.0L Flat Six engine. After all was completed, the engine now sits at 3.4L, a twin plug conversion, 7,000 RPM limit, electronic ignition, individual throttle body and ECM unit, and so much more. A list of highlights from the entire build is provided below. The interior is much the same with the entirety being gone through by Retro Designs. 917 “Lollipop” replica seats are wrapped in Alcantara, an RS carpet kit, MoMo Prototipo steering wheel, WEVO Shifter, Electro Cooler AC system, and TRE Motorsports roll bar are just a few of the highlights. Sparco Martini logo 6 point harnesses are included in the car, with the standard seat belts still available to passengers as well. This tribute car is quite possibly one of the best modified Porsche’s that we have ever seen, and sure looks, sounds and feels the part. Don’t miss out on this stunning 911.
