1967 FIREBIRD Tyrol Blue CONVERTIBLE. Restored in 2017 / 2019 Pontiac Historical Society (PHS) documented. The original 3 speed floor shift manual transmission, 326 engine and drum brakes have been replaced with a 1969 Pontiac 375 Hp 428 v8, a 400 automatic transmission, front power Disk brakes, 15 inch rally ll rims, Hood mounted tachometer, Ram Air hood and induction system. Photos of the PHS documentation, vin and cowl tag information is included. The Cowl tag stamped -; 67-22667 LOR 9607 1967 (Convertible built in Lorain plant) 260-Z F-1 (Custom Interior – parchment - Tyrol Blue - white top)Apprised at $45,000. Approximately 1,000 miles on complete frame off restoration. During the restoration, nearly everything has been rebuilt. Sub-frame was sand blasted, epoxy primed, and black epoxy paint applied. New front suspension -springs, shocks, ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends, new front disc brakes, master cylinder, and vacuum booster. The body was striped and repainted in original factory Tyrol blue. The ceramic coating over the base / clear coat is stunning. The Deluxe (Custom) interior was a factory option that is really dresses up the interior as compared to the standard interior. The seat covers, door and side panels, rear quarter trim panels, in the original parchment color, are new. The Optional factory correct console and shifter, dash pad and repro wood steering wheel are all new. The undercarriage is solid and undercoated. Under the new carpet is dyno mat heat - sound insulation. The 428 engine has been rebuilt and updated with Regular Unleaded Gas compatible heads, Edelbrock Performer carburetor, Pertronix electronic ignition. A new complete factory style dual exhaust system (without the resonators) makes a great yet not too loud exhaust note. The factory installed optional power top frame was rebuilt and operates as it should. The body was striped and repainted in original factory Tyrol blue. Rear bumper is new. Trunk is finished with the correct hound's-tooth mat and spare cover. Many feel this Tyrol blue, white top, white Custom (deluxe) interior color combination is the best looking first year Firebird. We always get complements thumbs up, honks and waves wherever we go. The “400” front bumper, grills, radiator air flow panels, fan clutch, emblems etc. are correct for a “400”. All four “cocktail shakers” are installed at the four corners of the body. These were required on 1967, 1968 and 1969 Firebird convertibles. Most convertibles are missing these vibration dampers. The speedometer does read correctly with the 215-65-15 BFG white letter tires. Some of the new parts include; Radiator, core support, alternator, front and rear gas shocks, Edelbrock intake, 600 cfm carb, subframe bushings, engine mounts, front suspension bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, front springs, front disc brake system, brake booster, brake master cylinder, front brake lines, exhaust system, rear bumper, complete interior and correct black carpet, dash pad, convertible top, convertible well liner, convertible top latches, refurbished power top frame, exterior badges, BFG white letter tires, rally wheel center Car is being sold as-is, no warranty, however inspection in person or third party are welcome and encouraged. I have an excellent rating with zero complaints. I have sold 5 classic cars that I have restored to both coasts and in the Midwest in the last 4 years. Please ask any questions, even before bidding. The opening bid is well below the appraised value and it is a few thousand dollars below the reserve. Inspection even before bidding is encouraged. It is available locally. While I discourage ending auctions early, that is a possibility. Shipping is your responsibility. $1,000 non-refundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of winning bid and balance of payment within 3 days by electronic funds transfer that clears our PNC bank before the Firebird leaves our property. Cash at pick up during bank hours is also acceptable. The $1,000 deposit will be credited when the sale is completed.
