1967 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:

About 1967 Pontiac GTO Project Car. Condition is Used. Local pickup only.

This auction is for a 1967 GTO project car. This is a true 242177 car with a clean title. The frame is nearly complete however I have not done ANY work to the body other than having it media blasted. The body has the typical problem areas that you would find in a 52-year-old car that had been neglected. The body will require extensive rehabilitation. But it’s not too far gone as to not be able to be a great car in the right hands.

When I purchased the car it had already been stripped of all of its interior bits. Making this car a true blank slate for a resto-mod type of restoration. Which is the direction that I was going with it.

The frame has been media blasted, it has been boxed using Hellwig suspension products boxing kit part number 91102, (for strength I was going to go for BIG power) and painted.

It has Wilwood upper and lower tubular control arms and Ridetech steering linkage hooked up to a Borgeson quick ratio steering box. For the rear end suspension it has a Hotchkis four link system with rear springs and front and rear sway bars. For the rear axle it has a PEM Performance flanged 9 inch Ford housing and axles (no third member). Also installed is Welwood’s front and rear disc brakes conversion kit. Including rotors brake calipers, brake booster, spindles, new brake lines and more.

Other items that come with this car is a Speedway Motors LS Tremec T56 700 hp six speed transmission with a bell housing to mount with Chevy LS motors. This kit also includes clutch, fly wheel, hydraulic throwout bearing and all fastening hardware and electrical connections.

I am also including in this auction a LS LQ9 6.0 out of a 2002 Dinali. The engine was running when pulled out of the truck it has all the wiring and harnesses that goes with it. I have not done ANY work to the motor so it is as it was when I pulled out of the truck.
