I bought this car here on ebay, I had to put a new battery in it, I also replaced the rear springs, and rear shocks. I also put 15 inch wheel vintiques rally 2 wheels, with brand new cooper cobra tires, I also have the set that came with the car and they are rally 1 wheel, 14 inch with brand new cooper cobra tires, so you will have a choice of wheels.
The motor seemed pretty strong but sometimes there would be a loud shreeking noise coming from the timing chain area, so I bought a new water pump and double roller timing chain, and I did see evidence that the chain was slightly rubbing on the cover, so then I removed the valve covers to remove the rocker arms and discovered 2 of the rocker arm studs were repaired in the past and the repair did not hold, see picture of this in the photos. I did not expect this and I have to get back to my other cars that are under restoration. I don't have the space for 3 cars that are down. I don't know what it will take to make this car right, I know it will need the head either repaired or replaced, it is possible it may need some other parts, that will be up to the new owner to determine.
I am still learning Pontiacs, and I noticed that there were baffles that were bolted on instead of built in to the valve covers, so I did a little research on this and found out that these baffles only came on Ram air 4 heads. I have included picture of these baffles and the casting number of the heads. They might be a later model head.
I have all receipts and documentation from the previous owner and also his description of the car below, also have clear Oklahoma title in my name.
Previous owner description

Interior refurb recently completed including carpet, headliner, arm rest pads and bases, seat trim, weather stripping, sill plates and more. Sound and thermal insulation under carpet and headliner. Front and rear seats in great condition, no rips or tears. Original dash pad has one small (approximately 1”) obscure split that has been addressed to mitigate anything further. New windshield and chrome front bumper.

New gas tank and fuel pump, replaced all rubber fuel lines. New battery, cables and starter. Drained, flushed and replaced all fluids including brake, coolant and engine oil. Aftermarket headers, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake and Holley 4150 4 barrel carburetor. Rebuilt carb was professionally flow tested by the Holley tech center. Manual steering and brakes.
Older driver-quality repaint in the original platinum silver. Black painted Chevelle-type racing stripes on the hood and trunk lid, with fading in a couple of areas. Newer black vinyl top with zero signs of rust underneath. New Cooper Cobra tires on Pontiac rallye I wheels. Floor pans and trunk pan extremely solid. Surface rust only on undercarriage. Solid frame and chassis.
Much more, nearly $7,000 in new parts in the last year. Car runs, drives and stops very well. Quick and fast, lots of fun and gets a lot of thumbs-up. I bought it as a project after it sat in a garage on a concrete floor for 14 years.
