1969 convertible, 455. classic firebird.

This is a true American classic. This is solid car that has been maintained mechanically very well. It runs and drives great! It is a rare bird with the convertible top and 455 beast engine. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic which I had recently overhauled, so it shifts perfectly. Other new parts that I have put into the car are a new convertible top (top motor works great too), new radiator, new alternator, new water pump, new quadrajet carb., new lifters, new muffler, new 14" x 7" pontiac wheels, new tires and new battery.The car also has factory air. The interior is in good to fair shape, but has a few loose seams and it could use new carpet. The paint is original, or very old, so it really could use a paint job. Mechanics that have been under the car say that it is very solid with very little rust, so it has been well taken care of. I have the original bill of sale from 1970, also. If you are looking for a beautiful car that you can drive now but doesn't break the bank, and fix up as you go, then this is the one!
