64 gto convertible

1964 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:

PHS documented 64 GTO convertible. Not original drive train. Originally 4bbl, 4speed. Now has 455, T400, 12 bolt3.73 posi.Runs & drives.Top does not work.Last licensed in 1991. Odometer reads 31088.My brother-in-law bought the car "around 1988" with drive train swap andpaint/body work previously done. And no, neither of us know the history behind the T/A conversion. Yes, there is a hole for a T/A shakerin that non-GTO hood. I do not have an original hood.He did have engine rebuilt by local shop but doesn't recall specs other than performance cam install.I bought it from him in 1998. I havereconditionedfuel tank. Blasted/painted rear end and installed adjustable control arms,new axle bearings, brakes, wheel cylinders, hardware etc. Front recoveredbuckets are donated from 64 LeMans. Rear seats, door panels, handles etc. are original. The previous bodyrepairat lower quarter panels & wheel well trunk floor interface(note pics)was obviouslynot quality & some metal work will be needed. That said, the floor (one hole at drivers heel), doors, rockers, fenders, core support, back panel,glass channels, glass,frame etc. are in very good shape.Any questions contact me thru ebay messaging or call/text @ 636-222-0289.
