1967 Plymouth GTX Belvedere Additional Info:

1 of 682 GTX convertibles made in 1967. The gentleman's hotrod as it was known, the GTX's only engine options were the 440HP and the 426Hemi.1967 is aone-year-only body style thatstarted the Roadrunner, Super Bee craze. Also a Nascar super star with Richard Petty at the wheelin.

The legendary 440CI super commando was stated to put out 375HP, understated for insurance reasons, it was a torque monster and with few bolt-on mod's could be dialed up well over 500HP. Thedrive trainin this caris in original stockwith the originalHigh Performance engine, HD Torque Flight 727 trans, HD rear end, all the hard to find original parts. Power steering and brakes all new.

The complete interior upholstery is newas isthe convertible top with cover. Power top mechanism was also rebuilt. All glass is in great shape. The original 150 MPH speedometer shows 29,000 miles. Although I believe I am the third owner, I don't know the actual miles on the car. The original stock engine and transmission have less than 3k miles on a complete rebuild. Everything works with the exception of the original AM radio that's still in the car.A Sunday cruiser for quite some time now, it has not seen a rainy day in many years.

The underside is all solid metal floor pans with no patching. The front end was recently rebuilt as with the complete brake system. New exhaust with original type GTX chrome tips, Originaltype Magnum 500 wheels (original style wheels but not originally optionedon this car). All fluids are fresh. The Red Line tires have less than 2k miles on them.

The car drives like it did in 67 (this is not me first 67 Belvedere) solid and reliable. It's an eye catcher but also runs strong and sounds like a muscle car should, a real pleasure to drive.

Thanks for looking in and good luck bidding.
