ORIGINAL ARIZONA CAR - RUNS GREAT - ALL ORIGINAL NEARLY COMPLETE CAR

I took this car as part of a trade. Engine starts right up and runs strong. Brakes are good. Transmission does not jerk, seems very smooth. These are "Luxury cruiser" style cars and this rides like it should for its age. Tires are old, should be replaced, but still hold air. Chrome is in great shape. Has electric fuel pump. Engine was well maintained by the previous owner, and he started to convert it to 12 volt. Car currently has 12 volt battery (the exact style as the original 6 volt batteries), a 12 volt solenoid, and 12 volt fuel pump. The 6 volt generator is still there should you decide to keep it a 6 volt car. Interior needs to be redone, but all the chrome for the door panels is in the trunk as are a few other parts. Have not done anything with the electrical since I assume the rest is still 6 volt (lights, fan motors, etc.) There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing how easy a 12 volt conversion is. Body is straight and solid with the exception of the dent in the driver's fender (previous owner backed up with the door open a couple months ago and creased the fender). All door hinges are solid, doors function and open/close as they should. No holes in the floorboards…. and very little surface rust if any. The car is as solid as the day it was driven off the Packard sales lot in 1950. This would be an easy restoration since the body condition is in such great shape (did I mention no Midwest style rust-out?) or leave the body as is and have a classy looking rat rod style car that you can always spiff up later with a better paint job. The paint does come back to lifewith wax, as you can see on the driver's rear fender where we gave it a 30 second test spot. Comes with the original owner's manual. Title is clear and ready to go. As you can tell, I love this car….. but have too many "future projects", so this and another car are up for sale and the one that doesn't sell we will keep.

LOOK CLOSELY AT ALL PHOTOS TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE BUYING - THEY SHOW THE CONDITION OF THE CAR.
