OK LOCAL "BARN" / ESTATE FIND. PLEASE CONVERSE WITH ANYONE YOU NEED TO BEFORE BIDDING AND DO NOT BID IF YOUR WINNING LOTTO TICKET HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED. THAT BEING SAID HERE IS THE SCOOP ON THE SWEET OLD PACKARD. SUPPOSEDLY WAS IN A MOVIE WHEN THEY LIVED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. I HAVE 2 0R 3 BOXS OF MISCELLANIOUS PARTS I WILL INCLUDE MAINLY TUNE UP TYPE STUFF. I DO NOT MIND HELPING WITH SHIPPING HOWEVER AT NO COST TO ME AND WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF AUCTION CLOSE PLEASE.
THIS WAS INHERITED SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND SAT IN STORAGE EVER SINCE. LAST REGISTRATION DATE IN CALIFORNIA WAS 2008. CAR IS CURRENTLY ON NON OP SO NO BACK FEES WILL BE DO HERE IN CALIFORNIA. I HAVE TITLE IN HAND. THIS CAR WAS RESTORED AND SHOWN EXTENSIVELY BACK IN THE 8O'S AND WAS DRIVEN UP TO AROUND 2005. AT SOME POINT THE FORMER OWNERS LET AN EX AND A SHADE TREE GUY TRY TO GET IT RUNNING~SOMEONE THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO START CUTTING WIRES (I KNOW @#%$$^@#!!!!!). i HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE A POSITIVE GROUND SYSTEM AND I BELIEVE IT WILL NEED A NEW BATTERY WHICH IS AROUND $200. I HAVE ALSO NOTED THE BRAKES DO NOT WORK APPEARS TO BE A LEAK I WOULD GUESS NO FLUID NOTED LEAKING SO PROBABLY AIR. SO GIVEN THAT I DECIDED AGAINST TRYING TO GET HER RUNNING JUST TO DRIVE IT OFF THE END OF A TRAILER....... OTHER THAN THAT SHE IS VERY COMPLETE PLEASE REVIEW THE PIXS. VIN OF 23925 SAYS IT IS A 23RD SERIES DELUXE TOURING. IT IS A MANUAL 3SPD COLUMN SHIFT. PLEASE SEE PIXS FLOORS ARE GREAT. TRUNK LOOKS GREAT. SHE WILL NEED A NEW PAINT JOB OR DRIVE IT HOW IT IS.
