1951 Other Makes Additional Info:

You are bidding on what is probably the most complete and original 1951 Singer in the country. The previous owner bought this car in 1965, drove it for only a few months until he went into the service, then parked it in a garage from that time on and never drove it again. It has not been licensed since 1965, and I do have the last registration for the car from 1965.
You will see in the pictures of the engine compartment and the trunk that most, if not all, of the tools are still with the car. The pouch that carries the tools in the trunk is still in excellent condition. I looked the car over carefully, and I can't find any pieces missing that should have come with the car when it was new. Even the original side curtains are present. The wood used in the body that I was able to see is all solid with no rot.
Rust is not an issue with this car. I couldn't find any rust in the tops or bottoms of the fenders, body panels, running boards, etc. The only significant rust seems to be confined to the chrome pieces, like the grill and some emblems.
I expect payment within 5 days. The buyer will be given a Bill of Sale and the last Kentucky registration from 1965. There is no Title for the car, but anyone residing in a state that does require Titles for cars this old should be able to obtain one by turning in the 1965 registration since there were no Titles for cars this old in Kentucky in 1965.
