1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais 442

I have owned this car for 5 years. When I purchased her the following was given to me:

In 1999 the body was repainted with the original 442 W-30 factory colors.

In 2000 at 93000 miles the original 350 V8 was removed and replaced with a 455 V8 from a 1973 Cutlass Supreme and rebuilt with a mild cam, Edelbrock Performer intake and 4 BBL carb.

The original 350 Turbo-Hydromatic transmission was removed and upgraded to a rebuilt 200 4R.

The rear axle was upgraded with an Auburn carrier and Richmond 3.42 gears.

I have replaced most components of the braking system, all belts, hoses, thermostat, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, gas filter, most fuel line, air filter, wiper blades, all fluids, new alternator, new interior including OEM old stock cloth seats and doors, carpet, headliner, and most plastic has been refreshed. New classic car digital sound system and 4 speakers. 2 areas of rust have been repaired on the right side rear floor-body mount brace and front driver’s floor. The under carriage has been rust proofed and painted flat black. The A/C system has 134a fittings and synthetic R12 substitute. Led headlights, All 5 tires are new and have less than 200 miles, the wheels have been repaired and resealed and now hold air. I just changed the oil, filter and had all the fluids checked. All maintenance is up to date with no current repairs needed. Everything works as is should except for the clock. She is a blast to drive and retains a stock appearance. I have given her much love and care, $ 10000.00 in receipts alone, current odometer reads 99883 miles, VIN#3K47RAM470858.

Production numbers for 1980 442 were 886 units, 538 black and gold, 348 white and gold. Of the 886 produced 540 were sold in Canada, the remaining 346 were sold in the USA. Of the 346 units sold in USA 205 were black and gold, 141 were white and gold.
