1969 Mercury Marauder X100 Additional Info:
1969 Mercury Marauder X100 2 Door Hardtop Super Rare - Motivated Seller and have you seen one lately
I am reluctantly selling my super rare Mercury Marauder X100 2 door hardtop, these are very hard to find and there wouldn't be too many in this condition or with the amount of performance work done to the drive train. The car is super clean with no rust underneath or on top, its always been garaged for the past 10 years I've owned it and its never seen rain whilst it was in Australia, I brought the car back to Illinois in July 2018.The paintwork shines very nicely and will standout at any car show or cruise night, this car draws attention everywhere it goes due to its rarity and its awesome looks and stance. The interior is very nice, with no wear or rips, the original diamond stitching brings you straight back to the 70's, the cream/beige velour seats are in great condition and super comfy with seat belts fitted to the front and rear for the family with seating for six comfortably. This X100 retains its factory option called "Sport Tone" that is the Matte Black paint applied to the tunneled rear of the car from the rear screen to tail light valance. The X100 also retains all of its original components and needs nothing done just drive and enjoy, the wheel spats are factory, factory electric windows and the hideaway headlights work well. The numbers matching Factory 429 4V N Code engine and matching numbers Auto Trans were removed in 2018 and fully rebuilt with high performance components purchased through Winners Circle in Joliet and built in Perth Australia, the motor was bored 30 thou with racing pistons fitted, large cam, roller rockers and heads ported and milled, newer aluminum intake and 900 Holley Carb fitted, high volume Mellings oil pump, high volume Edelbrock Fuel pump, chrome molly push rods, ARP Rod Bolts, Edelbrock water pump, new starter motor, new 4 core radiator, clutch fan and Felpro Performance Gaskets used throughout.MSD Ignition has been installed and works well. The numbers matching C6 auto trans was fully rebuilt with a shift kit and 2400 new stall converter was added. The factory fitted 9 Inch with Traction-Lok gears was also gone through and fluids changed.Drive shaft was re-balanced and new uni joints fitted, brakes have been gone through and the power steering units rebuilt. The X100 has factory Air-conditioning however the compressor and condenser coil had been removed before I got the car, its an easy conversion to get the AC system operational if required. The car rides on Dragway rims and BF Goodrich TA's, the exhaust is a dual 2.5 inch system and could do with headers rather than the factory manifolds to add that bit more performanceThe trunk is massive, rust free and in very great condition. The car is sold where is as is, no warranty as its a 1969 model, price does not include shipping, $1000.00 non refundable deposit is required within 24 hrs of the sale with full payment within 3 days. Thanks for looking she's a one of a kind and Ill be sad to see her go call Mike 779 801 1305.
