1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 Additional Info:

I've owned this car for 14 years it's time part ways. I owned Mercury Cougars and Mustangs in high school from 1975-1982. My '67 Stang rotted out as they all did. In 2004 I wanted back in, but way better. I found this pristine unaffected ZERO RUST, MATCHING NUMBERS car in Ontario California and had her truck shipped back to NY. Since then she has been on the road for less than2,000 miles in the 12 years I've had her, garaged, never rained upon.I've nurtured her and improved her ever since.

This car has no rust, and no bondo, no accidentsfrom what i can tell. See for yourself the price is aggressive to sell, as I put over $20,000 into it and at $24,000 K is $15K lower than NADA pricing at a good rating. PLEASE CHECK! At this point this is a great solid good to go for many years driver, for someone that wants to DRIVE IT with the top down. Being an original numbers and no-rot car, this can be a show car if you want it to be. The Cougar is the same 3x less cost Mustang: the same great Ford engines and parts as the Mustang, but its 5 inches longer, with a better ride and original equipment upgrades... hope to find her a good home. As is, where is.

Flaws are it has a small non spreading crack on the windshield on the passenger side and a patch on the gas tank that holds fine. They are both stable for two years and why bother at this time. Both can be repaired for under $500. This is not a museum piece yet, its just a great, no rust, original numbers drivers for $24K. If your looking for a SHOW Cougar there is one on Ebay for $39,000. I do not have a Martini report, never bothered.

Payment expected within 1 week of auction bid. Please dont waste your time or mine. Not negotiating, its a price to sell price and you want it before someone else buys it. She is located in Syosset, NY 11797

Please ask plenty of questions ONLY if you're serious. I'm a nice guy, happy to answer any.
