Ebay! Vin # isWDB12319012017086Occasionally, a W123 Wagon comes across your computer that just makes sense. Sometimes, you will look for months...and all these wagons have shortcomings. If you've been looking, you know what I am talking about. This wagon reminds me of summertime in the Hamptons, or cruising down PCH in Malibu.
This wagon casts away all the competition. Orient Red with Palomino MB Tex Interior. No sun fade, dents, dings, ect. The mileage is 82k and the wagon has a perfect carfax with a linear aggregation of miles and coincides with maintenance records.
Typically these wagons were well worn by affluent families and most of them have 300K miles on them and are still going. At 82k miles, this wagon is just broken in. The OM617 diesel is about the most durable and fuel efficient diesel ever made. They just run forever. This wagon runs great, everything works as it should, ice cold A/C (recently serviced). Most of the suspension components and exhaust still have the factory tags on them encrusted in factory cosmoline (corrosion preventative). This wagon has bee stored in a dry climate in a climate controlled garage its' entire life.
I purchased the wagon from longtime owners in west Texas and would likely keep it forever, but, I need to downsize my collection.
The interior is beautiful, beautiful dash, wood veneers, or the all telling wrinkled door cards. (Ever look at a W123 and notice the door panels are wrinkled? They aren't supposed to be. The door cards are very moisture sensitive. This wagon is...dry. The seats are soft and supple, support is still great. This wagon has the VERY RARE FACTORY THIRD ROW SEAT OPTION, WITH SEAT BELTS.

A major service was just done, to include a valve adjustment, brakes, tires, 4 wheel computer alignment...right at using OEM MB and/or Bosch parts.
I have been collecting W123's for a very long time. I know them better than I know my wife! (She will agree). All the typical W123 issues are non issues on this wagon. The SLS or Self Leveling Suspension was just serviced. The vacuum door locks work great. The HVAC works as it should...(many people say Ice cold A/C only to find out the system is defaulting to the defrost vents requiring $1500 worth of work.)
The original and very rare "Becker Mexico" radio works just fine. (These have typically been pirated and used in the restoration of Porsche 911's of the era, which also came with this radio but have typically been updated.)
The jacking holes are perfect, this wagon is just issue free and picture perfect.
If you are looking for a subpar wagon, this is not for you. If you are looking for the "best of the best", this wagon is for you. They are only original once, and this is a fine example!
I have 3 keys, window sticker, stamped maintenance log, tool kit, medical kit...service records, ect.
If you'd like to contact me about the wagon, feel free. My # is 630 394 4757
Wagon is for sale on other sites and auction can be ended at anytime!
