1986 Jeep CJ Additional Info:

This is an original red CJ 7. Everything works on this jeep, even the A/C, and is in good working order. The only thing that doesn't work correctly is the clock. It works but doesn't tell the correct time. It has a 4.2 Liter Engine with a Mopar Fuel injection Kit that was installed in late 2015. The transmission is T-5 (5 speed). The motor was re-built 9,000 miles ago and the intake & exhaust manifold was replaced in January. Recently when it was smogged I had a compression test done which shows cylinders 1 and 4 at 135 PSI and all others at 140 PSI. The Jeep does not have a hard top but comes with a soft top and bimini top and they are in good/decent shape. The tires and rims are not original and are Mickey Thompson 33". This Jeep has been babied since 86 and the only reason I'm selling it is because I need the room in my garage. Many things have been replaced over the years to keep it in great condition as a daily runner andit has never been off road or abused. The first owner had it from 87 to 2002 and the second owner had it from 2002 to 2015. I've had it for 2 years andit has been really fun to drive. The Mopar Fuel Injection Kit is like night and day comparedto the original carburetor. If you experience the difference you know what I'm talking about and if you haven't then talk to someone you know who has or do some research online. I have the history of everything that has been done to the Jeep but the list is too long.

Body is in excellent shape. There was some rust where the roll bars connected to the pan which was common for CJ's however new pans were installed and welded before I bought it. The front fenders were repainted because of fading and chips.

I am the 4th owner. Owner 1 had it for a year, owner 2 had it until 2002, owner 3 had it from then until 2015. I've had it for 2 years.
