This 1960 Jaguar MKIX was used exclusively in a stable of cars belonging to a private estate for the first 25 years of its life. At this time with 29,000 miles only it was sold to the second owner, a Jaguar enthusiast and Jaguar Club of North America (JCNA) member. The car was entered in over 35 Concours d'Elegance winning 3 events and scoring 98.57 points.

In 1994, Barrett-Jackson auctions listed the car for an estimated $50,000-$60,000. The third owner who won the auction was a collector from San Marino, California who owned the car for the next 5 years and covered only 800 miles during his ownership.

The fourth owner purchased this Jaguar with only 35,219 original miles in 2007. There are extensive service records from 2007 until today totaling over $45,000 from Winning Makes in Santa Barbara, California and are available for viewing on request.

In the last two years the car has been used as chauffeur driven wedding rental vehicle and maintained to the highest standard.

The car is available for inspection before the end of the auction and can be viewed at the Winning Makes workshop in Santa Barbara, California where any interested buyer can make use of their well equipped facility to check out the car.
