This suburban spent about 15 years being stored away by the original owner, until we recovered the vehicle through a local auction. The truck was in such great shape we decided to do some partial restoration work on it to make it really nice. Pretty much everything that needed addressing we addressed it, except for the engine which seemed to be rock solid. I've been driving the suburban around town and it runs great, and drives perfect. I'm surprisedon how well it does on gas mileage. And to me, seems to have plenty of power.
All the paint and body was done by a local shop here in Pomona and looks great.
Transmission was rebuilt by a trans shop in La Verne and does come with a warranty of 12 months or 12,000 miles. When we got the suburban running again the transmission was slipping so we just had it rebuilt.
All interior was redone just about everything, has power windows and power door locks, the AC and heat works as it should. Wipers work good, and i replaced all the dash lights with LED bulbs so its nice and bright at night.
4 wheel drive works great, I've put it through the paces and it does what it supposed to do.
Suburban overall is a nice truck and will make a great toy or family vacation cruiser.
The 42,000 miles on the engine is only whats believed, theres no way to actually prove it. It being stored for so long it was out of the system. Truck may have as much as 142,000 miles on it. But after looking trough everything realizing what great shape everything is in, its not hard to believe the mileage is not actual. I would suggest looking at the truck in person to make that determination for yourself.
This is a no-reserve auction for 5 days, the truck will be sold. Its always recommendthat you inspect the vehicle before bidding, but I realize some people maybe out of state, so you are welcome to send a mechanic out on your behalf.
