Brand new Monroe Magnum Shocks Thanks for looking at a very Rare and Extremely hard to find 1987 "GMC" 2500 4x4 Sierra Classic Suburban with only 54k miles. Been in the same family since new with two registrations. This is a very rare find especially a "GMC" and being the first year for fuel injection.. Equipped with Optional Sierra Classic Trim, Optional 3 Rows of Bench Seating (Seats up to 9), Optional Vinyl Interior, Optional Rear A/C and Heat, Optional 78 Amp Alternator, Optional Front Tow Hooks, Factory Stainless Steel Exhaust, Stainless 16" Wheel Covers, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Rear Power Window, Rear Window Defrost, Towing Package, Bright Wheel Opening Moldings, Custom Steering Wheel, Bright Tail Light Trim, Bright Door Sill Plates, Fender Name Plates, Carpeting, Dual Horns, Visor Mirror, Etc... It's a Powerful TBI 5.7L 350 C.I. V8 with a 3L80 Automatic Transmission and a 2 Speed 4WD Transfer case. The condition for a 30-year suburban is excellent overall. This Suburban drives amazing, the engine runs super strong. Interior shows excellent, no cracks in the dash. The vehicle has had one repaint due to the age. Paint is very nice for an 87 Suburban. I would rate the paint and interior a strong 8 not perfect but very acceptable for an 87. Drives down the road straight and brakes straight. Tires are E rated about 40 percent left. I was really amazed how it drives with a fresh set of brand new Monroe Magnum shocks it really soaks up the bumps and handles excellently. I prefer the room and the drive of this model suburban over the new one plus no electronics to worry about very straightforward to work on. I had the vehicle serviced at Whitney's auto repairs in Anderson SC. Brand new severe duty front brakes, Moog sway bar end link bushings, fluids where changed AC checked out blows cold front and rear, the rear window may need new regulator window will go halfway down, the rear end makes no whining noise very quiet, sometimes depending on the angle when putting in reverse only sometimes will slight clunk mechanic said not to worry the truck is 30 years old, basically the only complaint. Being a 30-year vehicle it will always need something here and there. My Mechanic believes the miles are correct miles, the vehicle is far from worn out and the motor is extremely tight so is the suspension. The suspension appears to be original. Really drives out great. Being that this year is the first year for fuel injection and being a GMC and a 2500 4x4 makes this suburban very sought after and highly collectible. Will make someone a very nice vehicle, I suggest that you take a look at this vehicle, it is a real classic. Mcoy leasing supplied me with some of the information, I described this vehicle the best I could. Very impressive older Suburban. Keep in mind this is not a show vehicle but a very nice driver that will get a lot of compliments. Will be very hard pressed to find another 1987 GMC suburban in this condition.I have several videos, If you need more pictures please request.
