PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE BIDDING! Title: This vehicle had a Salvage Title, it was repaired and inspected by the NYS DMV, NYS Police and NYC Safety & Emissions and passed. It now has a clear and fully transferable title, the title is stamped "Rebuilt Salvage" on the bottom of the title. It no longer is classified as a "salvage title".If something is not 100% clear or if you need clarification oradditionalinformation about something PLEASE ask before you bid! I would prefer if potential buyers inspect the vehicle before bidding to avoid any possible problems later, but if that is not possible than I will be happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. This auction is open only to bidders with a feedback of5 or higher and with a 95% positive rating or higher who are registered in the united states, If you have any "Non paying bidder" feedback or do not meet the above criteria then you must contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be canceled. This is a 1994 Ford Crown Victoria With the factory P71 Heavy Duty "Police Interceptor" Package, It currently has less than 32,000 original miles on it. I purchased itmore than 20years ago after it was involved in an accident. The police department's policy was if a vehicle wasinvolved in an accident they sell it and give it a salvage title even though all it really needed was a partial nose and airbags. I had the car professionally repaired sparing no expense with mostly new parts from ford except for the sheet metal and air bags. Anything that needed to be replaced was and anything that was questionable was replaced as well! I then brought itfor the New York State salvage inspection which is run by the New York State police and dmv, It was put on their lift and completely checked that all repairs were done correctly and that the car is "road worthy." Needless to say it passed with flying colors the first time, It also passed the NYC Safety & Emissionsinspection as well (Emissions could have been double and still would have passed!). I took it for a computerized four wheel alignment and it was brought back to factory specifications with only minimal adjustment and no need for shims to be installed. It has been a pleasure to drive this vehicle and has NEVER broken down or given me a second of trouble since I put it on the road, I have drivenmany crown vic's and this is the best, Tightest and fastest of them all!I always do extensive preventive maintenance on all my vehicles and I DO NOT wait until something breaks or fails before I replace/repair it!!! Since I purchased this vehicle I have done the following repairs and maintenance.Oil and filter changes, (Motorcraft filter and castrolStartup oil).Front end lube/grease.
Transmission fluid and filter changed including torque converter(Motorcraft filter and fel-pro high performance gasket).
Rear axle/Differential lubricant replaced (Valvolene syntec).Power Steering Fluid Changed.A/C System Evacuated And Charged.
Alternator replaced, Police high output (New/Remanufactured)Power steering hose (high pressure) replaced (new)
External engine oil cooler replaced With Hoses(new)
Front and rear brakes replaced (Bendix/Police) And flushed and changed all brake fluid with valvoline syntec.
Spark plugs changed (Motorcraft Double Platinum)
PCV Valve replaced
Air filter replaced (fram)
Fuel filter replaced
Coolant/Antifreeze flushed and replaced (Prestone)
Serpentine belt replaced (Gates)Windshield Wiper Blades Replaced.
Mechanical condition:
This vehicle is in very good mechanical condition and has been very well maintained and has no known problems, The engine idles very smooth and is quiet, Ithad always passed the tough New York State vehicle safety and emissions inspection and the engine emissions could have doubled and still would have passed when it was registered and in service. The transmission shifts through all gears smooth and with no noise, hesitation or problem. I believe this is a very reliable vehicle and drives great on the highway and gives a great ride especially for a large car with a police suspension
Vehicle condition:
The dashboard is in excellent condition and has nocracks or holes.
Steering wheel showslittle wear if any.
Front seats are in very good condition, Front passenger seat has a seam that's starting to open (Can be sewn), Head rests seem to be loose.
Rear seat is in very good condition.
Headliner is in excellent condition.
Rubber Floor is in very good to excellent condition.Front drivers side door panel has a crack under the arm rest, not noticeable unless you look for it and is not loose.Ignition switch has difficulty going into the accessory position, it never bothered me because all equipment is hooked to the battery and/or switched
There are some minor "dings", scratches and imperfectionsthat areassociated with a used police vehicle 25 years old. Paint shows fading in areas and is far from perfect! It could use a good compounding, polish & wax job or a complete repaint if you're a perfectionist or want this for a show car.One plugged hole on roof. The muffler has a broken weld where the tail pipe connects on the drivers side, even though it still passes inspection, it should be repaired.
There is a slight leak from the power steering hose or pump, I replaced the hose and seal but I can't see where it's coming from.
I replaced the engine oil cooler and hoses(brand new OEM Ford) due to an antifreeze leak from a seal, I bypassed theantifreeze lines, I will include the original OEM Ford blue silicone hoses to restore it to original condition.
PLEASE NOTE:

This vehicle has been in storage for several years, I would recommend replacing all fluids, flushing the fuel lines & possibly replacing the battery (capacity unknown) prior to putting it back on the road.

PLEASE NOTE:AlthoughIn My Opinionthis vehicle is in above average condition for it's age and that it was a police vehicle and was involved in an accident(even though it was professionally repaired and careful attention was paid to every detail) It is not perfect! So I must say that if you are looking for a vehicle in pristine condition or if you are the type who notices every flaw or imperfection than I don't think this vehicle is for you, but if you're looking for a solid, well maintained (babied), Low mileage vehicle loaded with "top of the line" emergency equipment that has been professionally installed and that is ready to go than I think you will be very happy with this vehicle. I have owned this vehicle formore than 20years now and it has never broken down or given me any trouble what so ever! You can buy A newer crown vic but it will almost certainly have higher and harder! mileage on it and I highly doubt it will last as long as this one will!
I have described this vehicle as accurately as I can but if someone is unclear about something or has any additional questions or would like to see additional pictures or would like to arrange an inspection please feel free to ask! I would rather take the time now so you know exactly what you are getting than have someone complain after he/she has won the car! So please ask now!
It will be the responsibility of the winning bidder to make transport/shipping arrangements for the vehicle but I will assist in any way that I can
The winning bidder will contact me within24 hours of the auctions close and provide me with his/her name, address and phone number and if they will be picking up or shipping the vehicle.
