1993 Ford Crown Victoria Additional Info:
Own a piece of Ohio history! This 1993 Crown Vic was used by OSHP on the road until 1996 when it wastransferred to their academy for use as the SkidCar. I included a picture of how it appeared as the SkidCar. It remained at the OSHP academy until 2003, when it was transferred to the academy where I work. It spent the next 11 years as the SkidCar there until a newer vehicle was purchased to mount on the SkidCar frame. As a SkidCar it was used for lower speed maneuvers and wasn't used for aggressive, high speed driving training, either by OSHP or by my academy. I purchased it with the intention of restoring it to its in-service appearance with OSHP and using it as a show car. I really hate to part with it, but I now have another vehicle with high sentimental value that I would rather dedicate time and money to restoring. Ihave copies of the service records on this Crown Vic going back to 1994. The console in it is the original one as are the antennas. Sometime in late 2010 to early 2011 the odometer stopped working at 68,099 miles. It shouldn't have much more than 69,000 now, since the SkidCars where I work don't rack up many miles. The driver's window is the only one still operable. The ABS andairbag lights are on. It will startright up and runs well, but will need to be trailered due to one of the rear calipers sticking. The body and undercarriage are clean and rust-free, especially for a 24 year old car.
