1967 Ford Mustang fastback Additional Info:

up for sale a red 1967 Mustang fastback project. Real deal S code 390 4V car with automatic C6.
Body; the body is very complete but has some of the usual rust . The frt rails at the bumper mounting brackets need a little repair but not major. The lt torque box although it is there it should be replaced, the front floor boards were replaced but they need to be redone . The back of the car is very decent other than the repair needed on the rt quarter to trunk lid jamb. The gap at the drivers fender to door is wider than original. I'm not sure if its an adjustment thin, repo fender or something more major. Both doors have the usual corner bubbles . Also the car looks good in the pictures but the paint is blistering and will need to be stripped off. I believe both quarters can be fixed without replacement. Overall the cars body is much better than alot of cars I've restored.
Interior; original red interior, seats are good, car has its original fold down rear seat, it will need the wearable parts like carpet, headline, gaskets but other than that its all there
Drivetrain ; The 390 in the car is a 66 passenger car motor, it does not turn over so consider it a rebuildable core, The intake is a correct S code 4, I placed the motor and trans in the car . I installed the correct motor mount, block plates and the correct auto crossmember. The previous owner was running a smallblock 4 speed. The 4 speed pedals are still in the car but that's it.This car was a power steering car and has the correct draglink setup. The C6 in the car came with the 66 motor. The 9" rear in the car is the original uni, not sure if its posi or not . wheels are Magnum 500s 14". Drum brakes all the way around.
Overall a decent car and not too tough a restoration. I have accumulated a few Mustangs over the years and have decided to sell off a couple to concentrate on the rarest ones. These cars are becoming much harder to find and prices for completed cars are good so if you can do some or all of your own work you wont be upside down in the car when completed.I dont have any other 67-68 fastbacks. If you have questions regarding this car and this car only dont hesitate to call 540- five 3 8 - six 3 zero 8 thanks for looking . Also look over the Marti report picture
