1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

Up for sale is a beautiful 65 Mustang coupe with numbers correct "C code" 289 v8 with automatic transmission. This car has been garaged most of its life and certainly all of "restored life" of about 20 years. This car comes in a very desirable color combo of white with the red standard interior. The car also comes with factory power steering. The motor and transmission have been completely rebuilt by a previous owner (about 15 years ago) and the car runs, drives, and shifts fantastic. In just the last few months the car has received a lot of service work since the car did a lot of sitting for the better part of the last Decade. The brake system has been gone through and the front shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware and rubber hoses were replaced. The rear brakes were serviced and adjusted but are in good working order. The brake master cylinder was also replaced. The factory power steering was completely rebuilt from the pump all the way back to the control valve and slave cylinder along with new lines. Also of note, this is a very early 65 model with the Eaton power steering pump. The motor and transmission mounts have been replaced along with all rubber hoses and belts. New thermostat and temperature sensor. The heater core under the dash is also brand new. Car has been tuned up with new cap, rotor, points, plugs, and wires. A brand new "factory looking" dual exhaust has been added ( originally single exhaust ). All fluids have been changed. Most of the chrome on the car is brand new including, bumpers, bumperettes, door handles, mirror, gas tank cap, and quarter panel ornaments. Interior is in fantastic shape with minimal where and no no stitching coming apart on the seats. Tires are near new with 90% tread left. Paint still shows well with a couple of chips here and there. Still a great shine. Quarter panels were replaced when the car was restored. Floors, trunk, and frame rails appear to be original and clean. Over-all a fantastic car that I would not hesitate to drive across country tomorrow.
