[isdntekvideo] 1937 Ford truck 1991 351w HO motor out of a police car (80k) AOD transmission 3 speed with Headers (Headman. Also has all brand new dual exhaust. Carb (Edelbrock) Electronic ignition Radiator Electric fan IFS kit for front suspension (mustang II, 2, two style) With coil overs Disk brakes all around Ladder bar suspension in the rear. 8.8 ford limited slip rear end out of a 90s explorer Best part (power steering with brand new rack and pinion, but original steering wheel.) Windshield and back glass
Tires Rims 8 inch wide in the front and 10 inch wide in the back, brand new rubber all around. Ok so are you still reading? If you are then you know this is not your granfathers 1937 Ford truck. This truck was built to be used as a shop truck and a daily driver. The bed sides are from an old Dodge power wagon and the tailgate is functional and was custom built. I would be keeping this truck but I finally found a 1949 Chevy Suburban and I am almost done building that to be the new shop truck. This truck is a brand new build and everything is brand new. New brakes pads lines and so forth. Everything on this truck is less then 4 months old. I put a 4 barrel carb on the HO motor and removed the 2 barrel vacum setup. The brand new Radiator keeps the truck between 160 and 200 and is controlled by and electric fan. There are no working speedometer gauges in this truck. If I need to know how fast I am going I use my GPS. There is only a temperature gauge and a fuel gauge. The lokar shifter works as it should and It has a keyed ignition under the dash. I did have to make a few modifications to the truck and have pictures to show what I did. I had to add a metal floor in place of the old wood floor. I also had to push the firewall back about 6 inches to fit the motor in. I did my best to not modify any of the exterior of the truck and it was built to look rough but we welded in new cab mounts and it is riding on the original one ton frame so this truck could also be used as a drag truck. Originally I was going to put a cummins 12v in it but since I am not keeping it it has the 351w. If you have qestions let me know.

The not so good. Truck will bottom out if you hit a large bump. If i was keeping the truck as a daily driver I would swap out the 160 rear springs and run 200s with new shocks or put in adjustable coil overs. If it is just a weekend driver then I do not think I would change them. Also it was a fair weather truck here so no wipers and no side glass. the tracks are there and the truck will come with the glass but I did not bother to install it. Also it is rusty. The bottoms of the doors are gone and what appear to be rockers are kinda rotted but it gives it a nice look and it is solids. Doors open and shut with ease.

OKso if you are still reading, here is the story. We built this truck To be a shop truck. It is on the road. It is being driven everyday that it is warm enough to drive it. Then after years of waiting I found another 1949 Chevysuburban. This is now going to be the new shop truck so the old Ford needs to go. I built this Ford in my vision so it does not know if it is a Hot Rod or a Rat Rod or just a daily driver Patina Truck. It is low and mean and very much able to be used as a daily driver. I did as little as i could to the interior (I kept the original steering wheel and dash and all of the rough original look) and I did my best not to disturb the exterior. I did weld in a mustang two style IFS kit in the front because I like to drive my trucks not just look at them. Also put ladder bars in the back. I was leaving the option to bag the truck open. I did have to move the firewall back and also had to put in a metal floor. you can check my website for information and or call me. The best time to get a hold on me is early afternoon, because I also work an evening job. I would like to sell this truck before the snow flies only because I have no use for it and I want to have room to work on my new shop truck. I will be selling this truck NO RESERVE, however, I am reserving the right to pull the add because the truck is for sale locally and cash is king. This is a brand new build every nut and bolt and line and wire is less then 4 months old. also I built this truck like this on purpose so no need to send me a message about how it is or is not a hot rod or rat rod. I never cared much either way was just building a truck that I knew was built right and I could drive everyday and if I did not find the Suburban I would still be driving this truck it turns more heads then every truck we have ever built.. and we build 5-6 a year.. I love it and if I had the room I would keep it. If you bid on the truck and you win you will need to pay a 1000.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT, paid at the end of the auction and before you come to pick it up. The remaining money can be paid on pickup or however we choose. I have no doubts that once you drive this truck you will love it. Shipping is your responsibility. I will work with third party shippers and the truck is registered and on the road so can be driven to port or shipping station. THE NOT SO GREAT depending on how you plan to drive this truck there are things that you might want to consider changing. For me the truck was a fair weather truck and so i did not install the side windows. This could be done I have the tracks I just saw no reason for it. There are no seat belts and gauges in this truck. I use my phone as my gauge. The truck does have fuel and temp gauge just not speedo. There are no seat belts in the truck. The turn signals are in the headlights and are very nice and you can see them in the video. The rear coil overs are 160s If i was keeping the truck I would switch to 200 springs and run better shocks it has bottomed out on me a couple times. That is an easy fix though and personally if i was going to make it a daily driver i would probablyjust add adjustable coil overs and be done with it. Would do it now but there is no need if it is just something you are going to drive on the weekends. If you want to know anything or want pictures get a hold of me. I did not take a lot of build pictures because I was planning to keep the truck.similar in style to chevy 3100 Chevy 3100 chevy c10 ford f1 f2 f3 originally had a flat head v8 v6 old ford truck vintage.old trucks old style.
