1954 Ford F-100 Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Additional Info:
1954 Ford F100. I purchased this truck a couple of years ago from a gentleman who had owned it for 20 years. It is a nice clean truck that I spent some time working on the Patina-Look exterior and and Black Naugahyde interior. This little truck runs great. It is equipped with a straight 6 and column shift manual transmission. I really like how it looks. Its a beautiful color called Ruby Cut Red. I spent $2500 on theupholstery which includes the seat, headliner, rear of the cab and carpeting all the way up to the kick panels. It looks clean and nice. The bumpers are straight. The body was clean and dry(Bakersfield California). I did use Por15 underneath because I like the way that it looks and its a great protectant from the elements. I finished the bed with alder?--Its a combination of several stains and it really turned out nice too. In addition to the new upholstery, the truck has a brand new instrument cluster. I put brand new Hankook tires all around and they might have 20 miles on them. Front Disc brakes. All the lights and signals work. The truck can sit for weeks and fires right up--no discharge of the battery. Great little cruiser. Original California Black Plates. Just sitting in my garage as I has several other projects that are taking up my time at the moment. The truck has a great look and stance to it. Sad to see it go, but I know someone else will use the truck more than I. There are a couple items that need finishing--1. The side windows & regulators are not installed--I have. 2. The speedo cable is not hooked up either. I doubt i will get to these things before the auction ends. i have a tote or 2 of extra parts that come with the truck. Finally, the truck is sold as is where is. I willreasonably assist anyone who needs a transporter to pick up. Over the years, Ive sold many of my classic cars on Ebay and I have perfect feedback. I recommendalways seeing a vehicle in person before bidding, but that is up to you. Ive bought lots of cars sight unseen. Many I have been happy with--a few not so much. This truck is well worth my reserve--Like everyone, I have more in it than I am asking. Also, I will be listing my 1973 Chevrolet Super Cheyenne tomorrow.
