1970 Ford Econoline Except for a few minor changes to the side marker lamps and reflectors, the 1970 Econoline was the same as the year before including many of the same standard features. Engine options were a 240 - 6 cylinder or a 302 - V8 equipped with a SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic transmission. Econoline Colors for the 1970 model year was Sky View Blue, Harbor Blue, Reef Aqua, Cactus Green, Crystal Green, Tampico Yellow, Pinto Yellow, Chrome Yellow, Baja Beige, Candy-Apple Red and Wimbledon White. These colors were also available in two-tone combinations. The Club Wagon was the same as an Econoline except it was made for passengers. Standard options included ashtrays front and rear, coat hook, 2 dome lights, bright instrument cluster trim, retracting step for double side doors and vinyl seat trim. The Custom Club Wagon contained pleated vinyl seat trim, interior vinyl side and door trim panels, armrests for all seats, bright metal grille and body side moldings, plus added insulation. The Chateau Club Wagon was even better yet with simulated wood grain, full-length color-keyed carpeting, chrome front and rear bumpers, side and rear windows and Chateau.
