1965 Ford F-250 Additional Info:

What is special on the truck are the fenders and duals. Hagerty Collector Insurance valued the truck at $20,000 just because of those. Nothing on the truck has been altered except for the radio. The original one quita couple years back. The enamel paint and interior are original as is the 4 on the floor. Has a factory lighted compass below the rear view mirror. With the CustomCab you get the deluxe gauge cluster and chrome pkg. Got a 352 V-8 under the hood and shifts through the gears flawlessly. Drives at 75mph real nice, but has more... Has dual side exhaust and sounds like it has headers but doesn't. Those are alsofactory Ford chrome mirrors on it. It has the camper tie downs. The original owner from MN drove it to TX for vacations with a camper in the back. It had been sitting in a barn when I found it.I am the 2nd owner and have had it 10yrs. Have had it in poker runs, parades, shows, and collector car cruises. Starts in the dead of winter, and won't overheat on the hottest day of summer. All the original service history is on the door jam. I also have the original warranty card and owners manual. I have never been able to find or have seen another one. I was told a few rich cotton farmers in the south had them and one guy from Australia of allplaces has seen one.If someone knows of another one I would like to see it. All dually trucks backthen were flatbeds. Except a few conversions like this one.

I have replaced all the usual stuff on the engine, belts, hoses, ignition wires, plugs, distributer, vacuum advance, ignition coil, water pump, fuel pump. Basically anything that could go bad on a drive has been replaced. I had a Fordpower stroke pickup try and pass me and couldn't..... All the gauges, lights and equipment on the truck works. Thosedecals on the truck are WWII nose art.I really don't care to sell it. I will never find another one. But I need to add another tractor to the farm and if I sold this it would help the cash flow. I am also a certified mechanic. I wouldn't put my family in it if it wasn't safe and I sure wouldn't put yours in it. If you have any questions please email me. I have video of it starting and running. I will show you anything you want to see. The truck isn't perfect it has some dents and scratches, but it is loaded with character... You can stand on the floor panelsand inner door liners. There is surface ruston the frame rails.Glass is all good and cab seals tight. After 52 yearsthat enamel paint still gets all the looks.Again this Ford has not beentouched or rebuilt. The factthat its a '65 ford is not rare but those fenders and duals are. If you want something nobody else has this is it. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
