1934 Ford Rat Rod Flatbed Truck Dually 4x4 Additional Info:
This vehicle is a one-of-a-kind, meticulously constructed Rat Rod in the form a 1934 Ford Truck. The fact that it’s a Dually 4x4 makes it even more special, putting it in a league of its own. This truck has been built from the ground up as a labor of love, with countless man-hours and dollars invested. It starts with the main frame which is professionally fabricated from 3” x 6” rectangular steel stock. The cab, front grill, etc…are 1934 Ford, chopped about 2”. It has new glass, gauges, seat, steering wheel column, heater, electric windshield wiper and more.Outside, the semi-gloss satin black paint has a retro look that is perfect for the truck. The flatbed – again, professionally fabricated – consists of rectangular steel framing with aluminum interlocking decking covered with Heculiner finish, reinforcing the retro look of the truck. The bed also incorporates concealed, slide-out loading ramps. The engine is a NEW 350 Chevy 290hp V8. There is an Edelbrock intake, Performer carb, pointless distributor, new water pump, and power steering. The exhaust system consists of new headers, “stingers” and 4” pipes exiting each side of the dual rear wheels. The engine is mated to a 1 ½ ton Chevy 4-speed truck transmission and bell housing, including a new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing. The drivetrain consists of a 1971 International 1 ½ ton truck “divorced” 2-speed transfer case (actually, a much-desired NP205 cast iron with gear drive) with matching front and rear differentials (from same) each with original stamped numbers. The front and rear brakes include a new master cylinder, brake booster and lines.Rounding out the truck are the 16” wheels with 9”x34” Super Stomper tires, stainless steel wheel covers, shocks and a custom aluminum petrol tank. The battery and entire electrical system is new, including all lighting and the fuse box. This is a great opportunity to own a unique custom truck that looks fantastic (great for shows and meets), and is also tough enough to be a real work truck.Call Jim at 954-298-5315 or Marco at 954-448-3606
