1979 ford F-150 4x4

1979 Ford F-150 Custom Additional Info:

Very original 1979 Ford F-150 4x4. Green on green explorer package with original hood and bed side emblems. Exterior has been clearcoated to preserve the little bit of patina and make it shine again. Runs and drives good. Brakes are a little stiff and may need a new master cylinder or hydraulic lines soon and heater core has been bypassed so if it is colder where you are than it is in south Louisiana then you may want a working heater. Truck has just been a Louisiana farm truck the last 3 years spending the majority of the 10 years before that tucked away in a barn in Tennessee. Odometer is currently showing 30776 miles. I would imagine that to be 130776 miles and based off of the condition of the interior I doubt it is any more than that. Seat, door panels, and carpet are all in great, original condition in hard to find green. Dash pad and headliner have been covered. Four wheel drive works well but makes some clunking sound in low at times so it may be due for new bushings soon. There is some rust in the bed as seen in the pictures and one spot on the cab above the drivers door but the cab does not leak and the bed floor is very solid. All glass is good. Original jack and tire tool still under the hood. Still has what appears to be original exhaust (muffler and tailpipe need replacing) including catalytic converter. Original owner's manual and warranty card in the glove box. I don't believe that this truck has ever had larger than stock size tires on it. No reserve. These trucks are getting very hard to find, especially in green.
