1951 Dodge Other Additional Info:

This is a very solid old Mopar... and a rare two door!Other than some dents and dings, the body is in great shape for its age. Car hasn't been wrecked to my knowledge and door hinges are very solid, no sagging, and still close like a vault. Motor and transmission have been changed out to a 350 Chevy (85 later) that has a larger than stock cam andheavily modified headers that exit through front fenders... a 400 automatic backs that motor up and they run very well but I don't know how many miles they have on them. Wheels have been powder coated and have new tires with less than 400 miles on them.Front brakes converted to Chevy disk brakes with new components including master cylinder. Dash is intact as it was in 1951. Gauges are all there but are notoperational (speedo works)after the engine swap but a secondary set are underneath dash. Still has the original seats with the original factory order seat protectors on them! All glass seems original to car and all 4 windows roll down without fail butweather stripping is worn.Trunk floor is in good shape except where cut out for the 19 gallon fuel cell sits. Interior trim is missing along theheadliner as well as the liner. Drives like a 67 year old car... steering play, shortened front coils, lowering blocks under rear leaf springs to give it that stanceand frame isn't rusted out. Would make a great restro-mod project or just leave like it is if you're into that Hot Rod look. Modest reserve set on this so good luck bidding!
