1948 DeSoto Deluxe coupe. This is really unique car. It has 236 cubic inch /109-bhp L-head six-cylinder engine with three speed manual transmission. Odometer shows at 03493, I am not sure what the correct mileage is. Actual miles unknown. As far as I know this car is all matching number. The car was restored back in the 80s but since then the paint had faded on the roof and on top of the panels. It has some paint bubbles but it’s still solid car, it looks very good on the road. The engine and transmission are in working order; the car runs and drives good no problems. I drove the car aroundtown, never took it on freeway and I’m not sure how it will perform. The carburetor and brakes was serviced back in 2016 total cost was over $3k. Interior of the car is in okay shape. The door panels and the headliner including the carpet will need to be replaced. Material on them is sagging down.Driver side door window has a crack. I do have full book of pictures and service records that goes back to when the car was restored. All of the lights including the wipers are in working condition. The car was not converted to V12 it’s still original V6. Keep in mind this is an old car and it performs like an old car. I have the title and it has reconditioned title from 1998 not sure why, I had looked around it I could not find any repairs that was done.
