The exterior displays excellent stainless steel body panels throughout. There are no "dings" to note on this car. The body, interior, engine compartment and undercarriage are in excellent condition. The original coated DMC wheels are in beautiful condition as are the radial tires. John DeLorean's "baby" rides on 14-inch front wheels and 15-inch rear wheels. The tires are in good shape, sized at 195/60R14s up front & 235/60R15s in the rear.

I want to mention the front fascia and rear bumper are in excellent condition You will note the front fascia is free of the typical "eyebrows" these cars suffer. This car wasdefinately kept garaged during its 32 year life. The black bumpers are original to the car and in excellent condition as well. This car has never been involved in any kind of accident repair and it shows.

The rocker panels and jacking points are in excellent condition, we will be posting extensive undercarriage photos very soon on a vehicle lift, don't hesitate to inquire.

The gullwing doors open and close correctly. They stay up and the door lighting works correctly. The power windows work too. The original interior headliner & panelsare also intact throughout.

The interior is also in excellent condition. The dash displays original vinyl in excellent condition throughout. There are NO dash cracks. The carpeting is clean and detailed. The leatherseating is original and in great shape. This is simply a clean and well-maintained DeLorean that has been driven very little. Just under 9,800 miles are logged on the odometer. The original speedometer / odometer are functional.

The center console is also in excellent condition as are the buttons and knobs. The instrument lighting works throughout this car as do the indicators, headlamps, turn signals, emergency brake, and horn. The original radio is intact. This appears to have always been a non-smoker car. The dash is in great shape and the instruments are functional. This car's condition is indicative of the low mileage everywhere you look, inside, underneath, the body, and the mechanical condition. I also want to mention that Grubbs Motorsports has done an inspection and service, again inquire.

The engine compartment displays the original PRV 2.85 liter engine. Original grease pen markings are found underhood. The decals are also original and intact throughout. The louvers and engine cover are displaying their original paint finishes as well. The engine is clean and runs well. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts great and the clutch grips strong. The car drives out well.

Our photos and video were taken here in Garland, Texas. Grubbs Motorsports is located at 225 East Buckingham Rd. in Garland, Texas, 75040. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged, by appointment. Michael at 972-387-9796 or Sam at 972-748-6389.

The hood is in excellent condition. These early-production year 1981 models feature this "flapper" fuel door, not on the mid-year cars and later.

Open the trunk and you will find a very cool original DeLorean stainless care kit. The trunk area is clean and detailed original carpeting also with the factory spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment. Note the condition of the original decals throughout. I also want to note the exceptional condition of the weatherstrip throughout this car. The luggage compartment (trunk) light is also working.

This isa July '81 produced car. Note the original data plates are in excellent condition.

In 1981, this car is emissions compliant, complete with its original exhaust system and catalytic converter.

The tail lights are in excellent condition as is the center panel that holds the license plate down.

The front fascia displays the original spoiler and wire mesh panel in great shape.
