1966 Corvette Convertible.

Was a Small Block in Silver,...Now a Big Block 427 in Rally Red.

427 Big Block with the very rareCE 3963 512 Casting Number!

Now,...this 512 Motor should be extremely interesting to those Muscle Car People.....this is a very valuable block. The 512's were used in mostTop Level Performance Chevrolets.

This is a "Customer Exchange" Block....a real CE Block.

I would drive this car any distance with total confidence.

Tracks True - Handles Great - Stops on a Dime- Steers Perfectly.

The Exterior Condition.

Beautiful Paint showing clear reflective qualities on all panels. The shine is deep, the color hues are even on all panels and the soft top is newer also in nice shape.

The Wheels are very nice too,....Knock-Off & Gold Line Tires,....a terrific look.

The Chrome bumpers shine well and the side pipe covers are too.

The car stands square on the road,...a very nice street stance indeed.

On the High Quality Driver Scale of 1 to 10,...she's a 8.5 to 8.9:)

The Interior Condition.

Nice,...and in step with the exterior condition rating. The rugs are clean and full color,..the seats are too. There is but one exception,..on the passengers seat bottom,...one of the seams is pulling apart in a 4" area.

You really don't notice it,..but it's there. You sure can't see it if there is a passenger with you:) It's very minor,..but there nonetheless. Again....the interior is a High Quality Driver Condition rating by anyone's standard.

The Performance.

Okay,...now for the fun part. This 427 / 512 Big Block CE Engine is Super Sweet Mechanically.It's well over 400 horses,...and it's very quick and very well manered as you shift through the gear box.

Also,..the 4 speed gate between gears is super smooth from gear to gear. No slop,...no guessing,...very nice and expertly Sorted out,mechanically speaking.

The Side Pipe Exhaust sends a note to all that it's something special.....the Soundis absolutlePOWER!

Get in,...flcik the key and go anywhere at anytime at any speed you're comfortable driving. This 427 is extremely well tuned,...it's very fast,...it drives like a muscle car should.

The Electric Fan keeps it cool even on 100 degree days like today as I shot these photos,......I had a blast driving it.....I would say one of the best Mid Years I've driven. And,..thanks to that Fan,...there is no Heat Soak like in most 427 cars on a hot day.

The detailed engine bay looks terrific. Other than the Electric Fan,...everything under the hood is correct 427 & nicely finished &every surface is sparkling clean.

In Closing.

Please expect a Gorgeous '66 that's ready to hit the road at your Beckon Call. The Road Manners are Impressive,...it's very fast and you'll have a ball driving it. The Electric Fan keeps this 427 cool as a cucumber on the hottest of days....something most 427 cars can't say. This car has been Expertly Sorted Out and even if not totally perfect,...still so nice that you'll be extremely proud to be seen pulling up in it at the Country Club.

This car will serve you well and give you that 427 Mid Year Big Block Big Horse Performance and Sound for far less money....and not only that,....you can drive andenjoy this one without fear of devaluation from actually driving it!
