This is a beautiful, rare 1966 corvette convertible with matching-numbers 427/425 hp engine and 4-speed transmission. The car is black with black leather interior and black convertible top, all correct per the trim tag. Only 4% of the 1966 Corvettes were black, so this is a hard-to-find and very desirable color combination. I have owned the car since 2005 and it is kept in my private collection of southern California, and only rarely driven for shows and car events. Overall the car is a great looker and very solid and reliable driver. The paint is probably 20 years old now, but still showing well. Black convertible top is excellent. The interior is in excellent condition and has the rare option of leather seats. The engine compartment is clean and correct. Engine was rebuilt from bare-block in 2012 and has less than 500 miles on it. The master cylinder was rebuilt in 2016. VIN tags and trim tags have been inspected and determined to be authentic and original. The numbers, colors and options are correct per the trim and VIN tags, but the car is not documented. Odometer shows 39k miles, but total mileage is unknown.
