• SBC 350 NEW/REBUILD

The 350 4 bolt main engine block casting #14010207 with date code #J211 = October 21st 1981 started life as a 1 ton truck engine. Engine block and cylinder heads were hot tanked and inspected. New cam bearings along with new gallery plugs and casting/freeze plugs were installed throughout. Block was aligned bored and hot tank bored and honed to 0.060" over using block plates. Engine currently displaces 360 cubic inches.

Crankshaft casting #3932442 is a nodular iron medium journal (2.45"/2.10") X (3.48" stroke) crank; it was inspected and polished to 0.010" undersize on mains and journals.

Inspected and reconditioned the factory rods were fitted with new TRW forged aluminum pistons (+0.060" oversize 9.5 to 1 compression ratio) wrist pins and chrome molly piston rings.

New hydraulic camshaft, hydraulic lifters, chrome molly push rods, double roller timing chain with matching crank and camshaft gear set.

350/400 Cylinder Heads casting #462624 with 76cc combustion chambers and 1.94"/1.50" valves were rebuilt. Heads received a performance 3 angle valve job including new umbrella oil seals and exhaust valve rotators. Anodized aluminum 1.5 to 1 ratio roller rocker arms

Engine rebuild utilized Fel Pro Ultra Blue performance seals and gaskets throughout.

Additional components included are, a high pressure/high volume oil pump, Chevy II Heavy deep sump oil pan, Chrome plated timing chain cover, Weiand Stealth dual plenum aluminum high rise intake manifold, 360 degree adjustable aluminum thermostat housing, Moon mechanical analog temp gauge, Oil pressure sending unit, New Malloy Unilite electronic ignition distributer, Weiand aluminum low drag water pump, Billet aluminum crankshaft and water pump pulleys, JEGGS High-rise aluminum valve covers, 100 amp chrome alternator, mini high torque starter, alum radiator,

Engine was broke-in and Dynoed at Speed Shop in September and is in perfect running condition. 290hp
