1973 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

For sale is my 1973 Corvette with a 383 Stroker engine.

This was literally my dream car since I was a little kid. I had the opportunity and bought it with my combat pay in 2002. I have owned it and enjoyed it for 17 years. My wife and kids have loved it; lots of great memories. I have put a lot of work and money into this car over the years. However, life happens and priorities change and I have decided that it is time part with the vette.

I purchased this vette in 2002 and have owned it since.

It is always garage kept in the summer and is stored indoors in the winter.

It is barely driven in the summer. Maybe 2 to 10 times.

It currently has original 30,000 miles.

It is pretty much stock except for the engine rebuild and the gauges.

Seat belts replaced in 2012, Premium OE style from SeatBeltsPlus (The original seat belts are in a box)

Chrome locking gas cap (The original gas cap is in a box)

It is in good and original condition, but not in perfect condition. This is a 46 year old vehicle.

The stock urethane nose has cracked and begun to fall apart in the last few years, which is not uncommon. It is covered with a LeBra. I purchased a fiberglass replacement nose at one time, but was not comfortable with how rigid it was; a bump would crack it. So, I did not install it. I would recommend a plastic/rubber urethane replacement.

There is a crack in the wind shield.

There are a few chips and scratches in the paint.

There is a missing interior trim piece under the rear window (which never bothered me)

The interior is tan. The door panels are red, but painted tan. It was like this when I bought it.

I added a steel bar stiffener on the underside of the hood.

The hood prop is not stock.

Of course, I planned to replace the windshield, nose, and door panels, but life and priorities happen, and other things need my attention.

I don't know if it is worth mentioning, but I have a new cam kit and torque converter for it if interested. I planned to replace them this summer for more horsepower. CompCam SK12-246-3 and B&M 20404. $400 worth in parts. They are new, sealed, and unused.

I have done my best to describe everything and take pictures of everything, good and bad. Please consider that this is not a show car that gets trailered everywhere; this is a 46 year old car has has been driven. Please inspect the pictures. Let me know if you have any questions at all.

This vehicle is being sold in as is condition, no warranty, returns or refunds.

The buyer must come collect the vehicle in person so I can receive payment and hand them the title. Payment must be in person in cash, or we can go to thebank togetherand have the payment transferred.I know it is common to ship a vehicle and receive a wire transfer, but I personally know more than one person who has been swindled with this arrangement. I cannot just send it away on a trailer and hope that the payment works out and that the buyer is satisfied.

Thanks.

A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 is due within 24 hours of the auction ending (please use bank transfer if using paypal; if it is a credit card, paypal keeps apercentage and I do not receive the full $500.00 payment). The full payment must be completed within 7 days regardless of a pick up date in cash, or we can go the the bank together and have the payment transferred. Please note that there are no inspections to be made after the sale. Please be sure to complete any inspection or questions before bidding. The seller makes every effort to describe in detail about the vehicle and includes many detailed and recent natural photos of the vehicle. The mileage on the vehicle is correct at the time of listing but obviously subject to minor changes necessary to complete delivery of the vehicle to the buyer and test drives etc. It is the responsibility of the buyer to be satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value of the vehicle before bidding and to bid based upon that judgment solely. Seller assumes no responsibility whatsoever after the sale. Sold as is. No refunds.
