1950 Chevrolet Business Coupe Additional Info:

1950 Oldsmobile Custom Business Coupe
You are viewing an old school custom built in 1965 in Washington State. The car was sold soon after the build and went to Boise, ID where it has spent most of its life. The car won the Boise indoor show “Best of Show” in 1965. The car is primarily the same as when it was built with the exception of different paint scheme in 1990 as well as an engine and transmission change out. The car runs and drives good.

Please read on for more particulars of the car:
Body/Paint:
The body was heavily modified back in 65. 63 Pontiac front fender tops blended in the original fenders. Rear fender molded in the back with 59 Corvette tail lights and custom bumperettes. Also, the grill area was modified using a 54 Buick grille. No bumpers. The car was repainted in 90 with two tone Champaign metallic and a maroon copper shade with a black stripe separating the two. Ghost flames on the front sides.

Interior: The interior is original to the initial build. 63 Pontiac narrowed dash with original gauges. 65 Buick steering wheel and column. 69 Pontiac Strato bench with 6 way power and custom rear seat. After market gauge package, temp, volt and oil pressure.

Running Gear: 454 with Edelbrock intake and carb, nice lumpy cam, manual fan and runs cool. Power steering and brakes. TH 400with shift kit with stock rear end. All main mechanicals work as they should.

Suspension: Stock suspension with heated springs to lower the car, which was done back in 65.

Bright work: Overall in good condition with a few small dents in the driver’s door trim.

Glass: Original to the build.

Exhaust: Dueled with Lakester side pipes. Headers with Flow Masters which ends prior to the rear axle. The car sounds great.

Brakes: Brakes are stock drum and in good working order.

Wheels/Tires: Newer radial tires stock steel wheels with Star Fire caps.

Summary: The car is a piece of history and is a very cool ride for a new owner who appreciates customs of the 60’s. A little sweaty with patina, which only adds to the kool factor. I have over 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. Reasonable price. Great value when considering the historical character of the car. Don’t miss out on this kool piece of history.

Disclaimer: The car is for sale locally. The owner has the right to cancel the auction at any time for any reason. No warranties or guarantees are expressed or implied with the car being sold in "AS IS" condition.
