Painstakingly restored, that features EVERY correct casting, date coded item that has been meticulously reconditioned by some of the best names in the business.

Starting with a correct X77 coded Base Z/28 built in the Norwood, OH assembly plant on the first week of May, 1969 (USA), painted in it’s correct Fathom Green exterior (PNT 57/57) and Standard Green Interior (TR 723), with original Delco AM radio. This car began it’s restoration to current condition in 2005 and required 3.5 years to finish with originality being the paramount goal.

The body was completely stripped, new NOS full rear quarter panels leaded in at the factory sail panel locations and correctly spot-welded back into place with the rear inner fender wells. The body was then prepped for paint and expertly sprayed at a cost of $14K, to give you an idea of the attention to detail.

The born with 4-11-69 cast 3956618 engine block was returned to original condition with the addition of a +.030 bore, factory forged 11:1 domed pistons and GM 1178 Forged steel crankshaft. A Duntov 30/30 solid lifter camshaft, with .485 valve lift completes the engine’s factory specs. Correct 3927186 cylinder heads were also expertly reconditioned to factory specs. The engine has the correct smog equipment restored by Bill Hodel.
