1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups base panel Additional Info:

For sale here I have my personal project 1949 Chevrolet 3100 panel truck project that I started on last year but I stopped working on it to start on my older truck projects. The truck has a clear and current Ks title that matches the body plate inside the drivers door. Go to www.1949chevy3100panel.shutterfly.com to view over 400 photos of every inch of the truck. THE ARTILLERY WHEELS, CAPS AND RINGS SHOWN IN THE SHUTTERFLY ALBUM ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE BUY IT NOW BUT CAN BE BOUGHT BY THE PANEL TRUCK BUYER. The body of the truck does have some light rust in the lower portions. The kick panels and PS floor need replaced and theres a new transmission access panel that comes with it. All of the fenders have some old filler work in them due to dents more than rust I believe. The DS and rear doors were replaced due to dents but are included for parts and patch panels. The rear doors on the truck now are straighter but have some rust in the bottom where the originals were solid. There's some rust in the body between the doors and rear fenders mainly on the PS. Someone years ago riveted metal on the PS and rear corners years ago. There's some rust above the rear fenders and on the rear wheel wells inside. Again with old repairs on the PS. There's a fairly good sized dent in the right rear corner of the top but it doesn't affect the door opening and closing. All of the door sills/rockers are solid and the rear bumper filler is nice. All of the glass is old and weathered and the windshield needs replaced. The front bumper filler panel is the only piece of sheet metal that I don't have for the truck. The running boards have rust through and had smooth steel riveted over them years ago. The engine is the original 216 and we 12V wired it to run last summer and it ran great with no smoke or noise. It has a rebuilt carb and starter. Along with new fuel pump, coil, cap, rotor, plugs and wires. The coolant is fresh and the original style radiator doesn't leak a drop. The truck is a 3 speed on the column but the clutch is either stuck from sitting or needs replaced. We weren't able to shift it into gear when we had it running. The truck comes with alot of new stock style brake parts like master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake shoes and springs all around. We have removed the old brakes but didn't finish the install on the new ones. The truck has a new 15 circuit American Autowire harness with the fuse block, engine wiring, headlight wiring and ignition installed. The rest of the wiring is NIB with install diagrams. These are some of the new parts that are included with the truck (classic gold Dolphin gauges, new battery box, new alternator conversion bracket, new headlights, new front park lamp assemblies with turn signal conversion, new windshield gasket, new stainless wiper arms and blades, and new front leaf spring shackles). It also comes with a DS panel truck seat missing top spring, unknown non original front bench seat that fits it well, patina visor from around a 1950 Chevrolet car that could work on this truck. It comes with a worn chrome grill, worn chrome panel bumpers front and back, a spare tag bracket and light with good lens and some 1939 I believe park lamps I was going to use as rear turn signals. There's a pair of old bus seats that lay flat and flip forward or rear facing that I was going to put in it to haul my kids around. The buyer can have them if they'd like or I'll keep them if not. I try to describe my items accurately and honestly and the more than 400 pictures should tell the story.
There's a $500 non refundable deposit due within 48 through paypal with the balance due within 5 days of auctions close in cash or wire transfer.

The truck rolls and steers but has no battery or functioning brakes. I can help with loading it on a transport or deliver it myself for a fee if the new buyer is within 400 miles of Ottawa, Ks.

THE WHEELS LISTED BELOW ARE AVAILABLE TO THE BUYER AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OF $2000I HAVE A SET OF 5 RESTORED ORIGINAL 15 INCH ARTILLERY WHEELS WITH 4 NICE USED BF GOODRICH RADIAL WIDE WHITES AND A BLACK WALL SPARE ALONG WITH 4 NEW SS TRIM RINGS AND 4 NEW SS HUBCAPS. THESE ITEMS ARE PICTURED IN THE SHUTTERFLY ALBUM BUT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE BUY IT NOW.
