1969 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

Vintage pickups are more popular than ever these days. Trucks from the 60s and 70s are capable, comfortable and drive well. This one has been reconditioned with some fresh green paint and with a little more attitude added to the V8 motor. It's ready to help you get the job done or get you to town in style.
The second generation of the C10 pickups were redesigned with a more modern look. They are as popular today for their rugged good looks as they were back then. A simple rectangular grill with Chevrolet script is flanked by single headlights on each side and underlined by a chrome bumper. A step-side bed is always a good look and it's also nice to see wood lining the bed. This one has tie down anchors in the corners and black bed-liner sprayed on the sides. A tailgate embossed with Chevrolet script is held closed by chains and hooks. Simple, effective, no latch mechanisms to mess up here. Round taillights and a simple chrome bumper look good and get the job done.
Inside this truck is simple and functional. The door panels and the carpets are nice and look sharp. A quilted cloth bench seat is comfortable and roomy. A two spoke steering wheel sits in front of clearly visible gauges to keep track of your speed and critical engine functions, and there is a SunPro tach added to the steering column to keep track of engine speed. An aftermarket stereo has been added for your listening pleasure and just below that are the controls for the ventilation system which includes a modern 134a A/C system so you can stay cool on those long hot days of summer. A floor mounted shifter sits on a tall chrome stalk to operate the automatic transmission.
The heart of a pickup truck is the engine. For towing a trailer, for hauling a load, or just hauling across town. The 350 V8 in this truck has been warmed over a bit to give it a little more power to get the job done. When you pop the hood, you will find it sitting in a nice clean engine bay. A chrome air filter housing tops the engine and an Edelbrock carburetor handles the fuel mixing duties. An Edelbrock intake distributes things properly and an HEI ignition system lights it all up making good power in the process. Long tube headers get rid of the spent gases and makes nice sounds while doing it. Power steering, power front disc brakes, and a coil spring rear suspension assure good drivability and handling regardless of whether it is lightly or heavily loaded, and of course the A/C is an updated system so handles its duties reliably.
Come on down and check out this updated '69 Stepside. It's a good looking, great running vintage truck and it could be yours.
