1954 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
This is a true 54 Chevy Belair. I rescued this car from a lean 2 attached to a barn. Had to replace the floors. The trunk was solid. The old man had restored it about 20 or so years ago and couldn't drive it anymore and parked it. The engine is a 235. I believe is the original and had been rebuilt. It runs great an purrs like a kitten. 3 speed on the column. The oil pan gasket leaks a little but it's so small that I really haven't worried about it. I put a new water pump, thermostat and added a new aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Replaced the fuel tank, sending unit and new lines. New Vintiques wheels and Coker radial wide white tires. 3 inch lowering kit. New chrome bumpers. The grille could stand a rechrome but I like the way it looks now. The paint has a real nice patina and still shines nice but its a 10 footer. Has some cracking on the roof and some small spots on the body but there's no way I would repaint it. It's got so much character. It's like it's telling a story. Some of the chrome has some pitting and the trim is shiny but has a few small dents from over the years. I believe it's the original continental kit from back in 54 but not sure. There's not very many with this kit on it. I rebuilt the the whole front end. New bushings, king pins, tie rod ends etc. Front ends nice and tight but still drives like an old car. Has all new interior and headliner. Added new seatbelts. I have kids that love old cars. Repainted the dash. Antique heater with a rebuilt heater core. I've tried to be honest with everything and I'm sure I forgetting something. This car is a super nice cruiser. It looks like a rolling jukebox going down the road. Car is sold as is with no warranty. A $200 nonrefundable deposit due at the end of the sale and a certified/cashiers check for the rest of the amount due within 5 days. Buyer responsible for shipping. Reserve price is low compared to what I've put into this car. Thanks for looking and happy bidding
