1967 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Additional Info:

Featuring a great color and a powerful, yet dependable big displacement engine, this 1967 Chevrolet C10 Custom would be a great score for a performance-minded enthusiast who's also looking for an eye-catching classic truck to drive on a regular basis.
This pickup came out as a charter member of Chevy's second generation of C10s and features a decidedly more modern look when viewed from the front than that of its predecessors - a look that proved so successful that Chevy would keep it intact with only fairly minor modifications for years to come. This new breed was aptly referred to as Chevy's "Action Line" and you can see from this one that they certainly looked the part. By this time, Chevy was beginning to find that there was appreciable interest in their line as not just spartan work trucks, but also as daily drivers and projects for aftermarket customization, as we see here. Clad in silver, this pickup cuts a great appearance - it looks well-aligned, with nicely fitting panels, straight bumpers in front and back, and no visible dings to be found. The glass is very clear on all four sides, surrounded by fresh looking rubber seals in front and back. Speaking of glass . . . that full-sized, tinted rear windshield you see was actually an option in 1967. Chevy had gone to a substantially smaller version that came and went this very year as standard equipment.
You'll find a really nice graphite interior waiting inside. The split bench seat adds a decidedly modern touch, showing very little evidence of wear and providing far more comfort than the original, especially with the fold down armrest sitting at its center. The dash area behind the chrome tilt column carrying a Grant GT steering wheel looks impressively fresh, featuring an instrument cluster bearing easily readable stock gauges. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD player sits front and center, ready to provide your driving soundtrack, and you'll find a very clean dashpad sitting just above that shows no warpage nor any tears across its surface. In back, the generously-proportioned bed shows no visible dents or dings - even on the wheelhouses - and is protected by a liner that's obviously done its job well.
Serving as the rolling reminder of the motto "there's no replacement for displacement", a massive 454 cubic inch V8 sits in the engine bay in place of the original 327, paired with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. Topped with a 4-barrel Holley, the engine's in good form, carrying a nice lope to serve as notice of its cam-amplified power and singing a nice deep note out of its long tube headers that lead to dual exhausts. A nice byproduct of Chevy's efforts to offer a more comfortable ride to the masses comes in the form of the rear suspension. Coil Springs with a trailing arm, an option when this truck was new, sit in place of the then much more common leaf springs, providing a much smoother and quieter ride. Power steering and power brakes are additional features that make this vintage truck well-suited for frequent driving. This mid-60's classic has a great, aggressive incline and sits on a set of American Racing wheels - 15" in front and 17" in back - outfitted with General Grabber radials.
