1972 Chevrolet Blazer CST Additional Info:
Here we have a 1972 Blazer cst 4x4 for your bidding consideration. This Blazer is 99.9% complete. It is a good solid truck that has survived it's 45 years of life quite well.It still retains it's original 350ci 4bbl engine. I honestly have no idea if it's ever been rebuilt or even out of the truck. it's basically all original except for the headers. It still runs the cast iron intake manifold, all of the spark plug looms, air cleaner, etc. I have replaced most all top end gaskets plus thermostat, plugs, wires etc. It's also been upgraded to a big cap HEI distributor. It starts and runs great. No smoking and I haven't seen it leak any oil on the ground. The TH350 has been completely rebuilt with under 1,000 miles on it. The 4wd works as it should, the truck stops, starts, steers, just how it should. This Blazer has factory AC, the best I can tell it is all there, even the belt is still on the compressor. The body is in above average shape for one of these. I see no evidence of any rust on the windshield frame, cowl area, firewall etc. I had the inner fenders out and the cowl panel off to clean all the leaves out, everything is solid as a rock. No rot on the fenders, core support or anywhere back in the structure. Rocker boxes are solid and the original rocker panels still are in place. The drivers side rocker has bubbles coming through on the middle area. I have replaced: Both front and rear bumpers with new Goodmark parts, all lower woodgrain trim, all upper and lower tailgate trim, the banner, side lights are new. The tires are new BFG All Terrain TA KO 2 33x10.50x15's. all new carpet and floor mats inside, new dash pad, new stereo and speakers that sound great, new battery, fluids, tons of other things here and there that I just can't think of at the moment. The wheels were sandblasted and painted. The original hubcaps are in near mint shape. The side panels in the rear are originals and are in good shape. One is near perfect, the other has a little water damage down low in the back. All glass is good and original other than the windshield. Though it is in good crack and chip free condition. The original seats are all there and all in working order. The drivers seat is due to have some foam work done on the seating area and new covers on all seats would finish the interior off nicely. The truck has the original single wall top which is in great shape also. The hatch is good on the outside but does have a crack on the inside. Also the hatch handle is froke up and should be replaced. All of the sheet metal on this truck is original GM and is original to this truck. The mirrors are original 1969 Blazer mirrors in excellent shape. The seat belts are in very nice condition and are original also. Overall this is a fantastic truck. It's not perfect. There are plenty of other Blazers on eBay for $30K-60K that are perfect. So if thats what you are after then I would say this is not your truck. I have preserved as much originality and original parts and paint on this truck as I could. You can drive this thing just how it is or continue onward and improve it as you go. If you have questions or want other pictures feel free to ask. The vin tag, frame numbers, SPID numbers, drivers door tag vin numbers all match. These Blazers are getting hard to find in this condition. They are either rust buckets or completely restored. This baby turns heads everywhere it goes. Thanks for lookingOh yeah, the headlights work, high and low beam, turn signals work, heater blower motor works, horn works, original lighter works, windshield wipers work on both speeds, and the inside top lights work.Buyer is responsable for any and all shipping costs. I'm happy to assist in loading the truck onto a car hauler.

I thought I would also mention, the original rear view mirror is now back on the windshield. I've had requests for videos of the Blazer, so I took 4 or 5 videos this morning. Anyone else that would like these, just send me an email address or cell number and I can text them to you. Also, the parking brake works as it should, the fuel gauge is not working. The needle is pointed at the 3 o'clock position and has never moved. The speedometer works, temperate gauge works, oil pressure works and is strong. There is an old Stewart Warner tachometer and air gauge in the dash that look like they've been there 40 years. Both also work. All emblems and lens's are original GM other than the side marker lights. I have a clear fuel filter inline and it stays clean. so the inside of the tank must be good.
