1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:
Mercedes Turbo Diesel1983 Mercedes 300SD Turbo Diesel. The car runs beautifully with no smoke upon startup! No knocking, etc. EXCELLENT Engine, transmission, and brakes. She's a little cosmetically challenged but is good for 1,000,000 miles if you change the oil on schedule. New coil springs just installed (not cheap to do!) and Good tires. The sunroof and power windows (sans the left rear) work. The A/C blows but it does have a leak somewhere in the system. Solid body with one small spot of rust on the right rear running board (see picture). This spot is only visible when you open the door. No rust in the floors! Fun project that you can drive while you work on it. This series of Mercedes Benz make great Biodiesel conversions!
